Training Description:
This webinar will help participants learn the foundations of art-making in the playroom and how it can be applied with clients across the lifespan. Attendees will learn how to integrate art into play therapy sessions, while learning the difference between art therapy and art education. Additionally, time will be spent discussing ways to create art in the playroom with limited resources, as well as mobile applications. Cultural considerations in art making for the play therapist will also be explored, with participants leaving the contact workshop with art activities that can immediately be implemented in their play therapy sessions.
