Children with neurodevelopmental disorders are often misunderstood, both in and out of the playroom. This webinar will allow play therapists to honor the complexities of children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including directive and non-directive play-based interventions to support skills and connections. Participants will gain knowledge, self-awareness, and practical tools to create a safe, empowering, and effective playroom environment for children with neurodevelopmental needs across the lifespan.

  1. Discuss key items for play therapy with children with neurodevelopmental differences.
  2. Identify play therapy seminal theories for family and group play therapy with children with neurodevelopmental differences.
