Session Description:
Group play therapy is a helpful way to support children and adolescents who are presenting with the same issue. Participants will learn the skills required to facilitate group play therapy sessions, as well as group play therapy interventions to address a variety of clinical issues. This workshop will explore the use of child-centered group play therapy with young children and cognitive behavioral play group play therapy for teens and tweens. Time will also be spent discussing different group play therapy activities to build rapport between group members.
