Session description: Technology can be a touchy subject among play therapists, as many struggle with the comfort of integrating electronics into their playroom. However, this non-contact webinar will challenge professionals to respect the inclusion of generational trends in the playroom such as video games, virtual reality and apps. Participants will explore important ethical considerations when introducing technology into individual and group play therapy sessions, as well as best practices for teleplay therapy sessions. The workshop will also explore the use of sand tray, art and game play therapy activities to implement in teleplay therapy sessions with adolescents and teens.
