Therapeutic touch can be instrumental in promoting healing in play therapy, however, many play therapists may struggle with the ethics and implementation of physical touch. This webinar will explore the complexities of creating safe, playful spaces, while also promoting healthy boundaries in and out the playroom. Participants will review APT’s Paper on Touch to explore the importance of therapeutic touch as well as cultural considerations when implementing physical touch in the play therapy with diverse communities. Additionally, participants will discuss the ethical considerations of therapeutic touch, including appropriate documentation.
