This webinar explores how play therapy and play-based interventions can be used in school settings to buffer toxic stress while supporting regulation, connection, and expression. Participants will learn the Playful School Framework, a practical approach for delivering brief, relational “micro-doses” of play therapy beyond the playroom using everyday school moments to empower students of all ages. 

Learning objectives: 

  1.  Describe how play therapy principles support regulation and buffer the effects of toxic stress in school settings.
  2.  Apply the Playful School Framework to integrate play therapy into brief, everyday interactions beyond the school setting. 
  3.  Identify ways to use play therapy strategies to support connection, emotional expression, and co-regulation across the school day.
